Bruno Dias

Bruno Dias has a diverse range of work experience, starting with an internship at Critical Software where they focused on software testing and quality assurance. Bruno then joined Wipro Retail as a Project Engineer, specializing in implementing business processes related to retail and supply chain using Oracle Retail Merchandising System (ORMS). Bruno also gained expertise in Oracle Database, Forms and Reports, and SQL. Following that, Bruno worked at Alliance Healthcare as a Systems Analyst/Developer, where they were responsible for software development, support, design, and project supervision. Bruno then moved to WeDo Technologies as a Consultant, providing product support and troubleshooting for revenue assurance software. Lastly, Bruno joined Farfetch, where they held multiple roles such as Software Developer and Engineering Lead. In the latter role, they led a team of engineers in developing and maintaining microservices using CQRS and Event Sourcing architectural patterns, as well as Kafka, Cassandra, Elastic Search, and REST API technologies. Currently, Bruno works at LOQR as a Delivery Manager, Technical Lead, Developer, and Human.

Bruno Dias completed their undergraduate education at Universidade do Minho from 2001 to 2008. Bruno obtained a degree in Informatics during this period. Before attending university, they studied at Escola Secundária Francisco de Holanda from 1998 to 2001, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown for this period. In addition to their formal education, Bruno obtained a certification as an AWS Academy Graduate in AWS Academy Cloud Architecting from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2022.
