Lisa Roberson

Lisa Roberson has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and journalism. Lisa is currently working as the Associate Director of Communications at Lorain City Schools since 2022. Prior to this, they were the District/Building Communications Coordinator at the same organization from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining Lorain City Schools, Lisa worked as the Managing Editor at The Medina Gazette, a daily publication serving Medina County in Northeast Ohio, from 2018 to 2021. Lisa was responsible for overseeing the operations and circulation of the newspaper.

Lisa also served as the City Government Reporter at The Chronicle-Telegram, a privately owned newspaper serving Lorain County, from 2006 to 2018. Lisa'srole involved investigating news tips, networking with sources, and writing multiple articles per week.

In the earlier stages of their career, Lisa worked as a General Assignment Reporter at The Chillicothe Gazette, a subsidiary of the Gannet Co. Inc., from 2003 to 2006.

Throughout their career, Lisa has gained valuable experience in communications, journalism, and managing editorial operations.

Lisa Roberson attended Cleveland State University from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
