Bart Lamiroy

Bart Lamiroy is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the field of computer science, particularly in graphical document analysis and information retrieval. Currently serving as Director and Scientific Researcher at CReSTIC and as a Full Professor at Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne, Bart also holds the position of Founding Board Member and Treasurer at Phil I.A. Previous roles include Associate Professor at both Université de Lorraine and École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy, where Bart was involved in curriculum coordination and IT project management. With a strong educational background that includes a PhD in Computer Science from Grenoble INP - UGA and an Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches from Université de Lorraine, Bart's work has significantly contributed to advancements in the semantics of documents and images in formal learning contexts.
