Alhassan Khedr

Alhassan Khedr has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Alhassan co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Lorica Cybersecurity, where they led multiple engineering teams in the development of the Lorica Platform. This platform utilized confidential computing, privacy enhancing technologies, and fully homomorphic encryption to enable encrypted search and machine learning on partners' data, as well as encrypted deep packet inspection on network traffic. Alhassan's leadership and expertise allowed the Lorica Platform to perform confidential queries on billions of records within milliseconds, surpassing competitors. Additionally, Alhassan served as the President of the Egyptian Students' Association at the University of Toronto, where they were responsible for budget proposals and event planning. Alhassan also worked as a Teaching Assistant at both Cairo University and the American University in Cairo, contributing to the academic community. Furthermore, Alhassan gained experience as an IC Design Engineer at Mentor Graphics. Overall, their diverse work experience highlights their leadership, technical skills, and dedication to the field.

Alhassan Khedr's education history is as follows:

From 2017 to 2018, Alhassan attended the Creative Destruction Lab and obtained a degree known as CDL 2017-2018. The field of study for this degree is not specified.

Prior to that, from 2012 to 2017, Alhassan pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto.

In 2011, Alhassan completed a Master of Applied Science (MASc) degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto.

Before attending the University of Toronto, from 2008 to 2011, Alhassan obtained another Master of Applied Science (MASc) degree in Computer Engineering from Cairo University.

Alhassan started their higher education journey by pursuing a Bachelor of Sciences (BSc) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Cairo University. Alhassan completed this degree from 2003 to 2008.

Aside from their formal education, in July 2018, Alhassan obtained the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
