Vele Tosevski

Vele Tosevski has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Vele currently works as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto, a position they have held since September 2021.

Prior to this, Vele worked at Lorica Cybersecurity as a Software Engineer. Vele held multiple roles in the company, starting in May 2020 and continuing until the present.

Before joining Lorica Cybersecurity, Vele gained experience as a Technology Intern - Software Engineering at Moneris from May 2018 to August 2019. In this role, they developed software for the Core Payments and Software Development team and worked with various technologies such as Java, Javascript, Node, React, Redux, MSSQL, CSS, JSX, and HTML.

Vele's work experience also includes leadership roles. From September 2016 to October 2018, they served as the President of the Association of Macedonian Students at U of T (AMSUT). During their tenure, they re-started and re-organized the group after a long period of dormancy. One of their notable achievements was creating a website for the group to connect Macedonian students at the University of Toronto and promote U of T and Macedonian culture.

Vele Tosevski has an extensive education history in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Vele completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Engineering Science - Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto between 2015 and 2020. Following that, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Applied Science (MASc) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same institution, which spanned from 2020 to 2022.

In addition to their academic achievements, Vele also holds certifications in other areas. Vele obtained the title of Engineer In Training from Professional Engineers Ontario in February 2021. Moreover, they earned a Grade 10 Piano certification from The Royal Conservatory of Music, although specific details regarding the month and year of completion are not provided.
