Seth Levine

Seth Levine has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Seth is currently working at Loris.ai as the Lead Machine Learning Scientist, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Machine Learning Scientist at the same company from May 2021 to August 2022. Before joining Loris.ai, Seth worked as a Data Scientist at the company from September 2019 to May 2021.

In addition to their work at Loris.ai, Seth founded SL Design X in December 2012 and continues to serve as the Founder. Seth also worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at the New York Institute of Technology from May 2019 to October 2019. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the Laboratory of behavioral Authentication, Machine learning, and Privacy (LAMP) at NYIT. During their time as a Graduate Research Assistant, Seth presented a novel deep learning approach to activity recognition at NYIT's Cybersecurity Conference.

Seth has also worked as a P.S. 41 Basketball Coach at P. S. 41 since November 2010. Seth has been involved in tutoring since 2003, offering services in Math, Physics, Writing, and General subjects as an Independent Tutor.

Earlier in their career, Seth worked as an IT Specialist / Property Manager at American Realty Consultants from May 2015 to January 2018. Seth was responsible for setting up and maintaining computers, managing tenant payments, and overseeing repairs. Seth also founded and held the roles of Founder, President, CEO/CTO at CustomFood.org from November 2010 to December 2014. Seth managed all operations and activities of the organization, connecting users with UPenn Food Trucks.

Seth has a background in IT and technology, as they worked as an IT- Tech Specialist at Kew Garden Hills Pediatrics from June 2006 to December 2012. Additionally, they gained experience as an Undergraduate Marketing Consultant at FoodTrux.com from March 2009 to December 2010.

Seth Levine's education history starts with their high school studies from 2003 to 2007 at William A Shine Great Neck South High School. Seth then attended the University of Pennsylvania from 2007 to 2012, where they pursued a BAS degree in Engineering with an individualized major in Complex Human Behavior and Evolution.

In 2017, Seth enrolled at the New York Institute of Technology, completing their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science in 2019. During the same period, they also obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp, specializing in Computer Software Engineering.

In terms of certifications, Seth obtained various certificates in different subjects. Seth completed the Startup Engineering course from Coursera in September 2013. Additionally, they completed several Coursera Course Certificates, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript (May 2016), Front-End Web UI Frameworks and Tools (June 2016), and Machine Learning (July 2016). In September 2016, they obtained a certificate in Front-End JavaScript Frameworks: AngularJS. Moving forward, Seth acquired further expertise in machine learning by completing the Structuring Machine Learning Projects course (March 2019) and the Sequence Models course (May 2020), both from Coursera.

Furthermore, Seth had participated as a student in NovoEd online courses, earning the NovoEd Student certificate in February 2014. Seth also participated in two NovoEd courses: Technology Entrepreneurship Part 1 and 2, and Stanford Startup Engineering and Stanford Startup Engineering 2, although no specific completion or certification dates were provided for these courses.
