Jason Waterbury has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Jason began their career at Los Alamos National Bank in 2004 as a Loan Support/Document Imaging Specialist, where they prepared loan documentation and assisted with customer needs. In 2005, they joined Title Guaranty, LLC as a Title Technician.
Returning to Los Alamos National Bank in 2006, Jason took on the role of Executive Assistant, managing the Chief Credit Officer's office and assisting in process improvement initiatives. Jason then became an Appraisal Coordinator, managing incoming appraisal requests and ensuring accuracy and completeness of appraisals.
In 2013, Jason transitioned to the role of Loan Project Manager, overseeing loan projects and ensuring timely completion. Jason then became a Business Analyst 2/Project Manager, utilizing their skills to analyze, design, and maintain business systems. In their final role at Los Alamos National Bank, Jason served as a Supervisor in the Project Management Office, leading and driving improvement opportunities for business processes and controls.
Most recently, in 2018, Jason joined Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Division Financial Lead. In this position, they are responsible for finance/budget services, budget formulation and execution, business analysis, and general business operations. Jason prepares financial plans, monitors implementation of financial policies, and provides regular and special-purpose reports, among other responsibilities.
Jason Waterbury obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, attending from 2011 to 2013. Jason then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Leadership and Business Management from the same institution, completing their studies from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, in December 2015, they obtained the Certified Associates in Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute.
