Maria Rosales

Maria Rosales is a skilled social worker currently employed at Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles since June 2022. Concurrently, Maria serves as an Interview Notetaker for the Labor Commissioner of California, where responsibilities include note-taking during meetings with community organizations and data compilation for action planning. As a UCLA HARRT Fellow, Maria focuses on ensuring equitable working environments for both in-person and remote workers, studying self-advocacy and psychological safety in the workplace. Additional experience includes working as a Phone Operator for the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, providing voter information and assistance in both English and Spanish. Previous roles include a Retail Associate at J.Crew, a Researcher at the UCLA Institute for Research on Labor and Employment, and an Assistant Receptionist at Woodlake Resource Center. Maria holds a Bachelor's degree in Gender Studies and Labor and Workplace Studies from UCLA, earned between 2019 and 2021.
