Edna V.

Edna V. has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Edna most recently served as the Director of Human Resources at the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority since February 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at KRA Corporation, including Director of People and Culture from April 2020 to February 2023, Manager of Corporate Governance and Compliance from May 2019 to April 2020, and Manager of Program Development from February 2016 to May 2019. Edna also worked as an Associate Faculty member in Political Science at Mt. San Jacinto College from August 2018 to July 2020. Edna started their career at the County of Riverside, where they worked as a Senior Development Specialist and Equal Employment Opportunity Officer from 2007 to February 2016.

Edna V. completed their education at Lewis & Clark Law School from 1996 to 1999, earning a Doctor of Law (JD) degree with a specialization in Law. Prior to that, they attended Gonzaga University from 1992 to 1996 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice. Additionally, they have acquired certifications from HRCI for a Certificate in D&I in HR Management - Assessment, Inclusion, and Retention (expected in 2023) and from SHRM as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) in August 2021.
