Rachel Johnson

Rachel Johnson is an experienced professional in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as Chief of Staff at the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority since February 2023. Prior to this role, Rachel was the Deputy Chief of Staff at St. Joseph Center from May 2017 to February 2023, where additional positions included Impact and Evaluation Director and Project Manager. Rachel's earlier experience includes serving as Project Coordinator at Arise And Shine Uganda, managing various development initiatives and securing funding from key donors. As a Program Assistant at Light Gives Heat, Rachel organized social projects and supported operations, while earlier internships provided foundational experience in program management. Rachel holds a Master's Degree in International Affairs from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from The George Washington University.
