John Szabo

John Szabo is currently the City Librarian at the Los Angeles Public Library. Prior to their current position, Mr. Szabo served as the Director of the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System from January 2005 to December 2012, the Palm Harbor Library from January 1995 to December 1998, and the Clearwater Public Library System from January 1998 to December 2005. Mr. Szabo began their career in library administration as the Director of the Robinson Public Library District from January 1992 to December 1995.

John Szabo has a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Telecommunication and Film from The University of Alabama. John also has a Senior Executives in State and Local Government certificate from Harvard University.
