Joyce Cooper

Joyce Cooper has been with the Los Angeles Public Library for over 20 years. Joyce started as an Acting Senior Librarian in 2001 and has been the Director of Branch Library Services since 2013. In their current position, they manage a team of librarians who provide public service to the citizens of Los Angeles. Joyce is passionate about their work and is committed to providing the best possible service to their community.

Joyce Cooper earned a B.A. in Joyce'story from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an M.S. in Library and Information Science from Drexel University. Joyce also attended Glendale Community College.

Joyce Cooper reports to John Szabo, City Librarian.
