Emily Vankoughnett

Emily VanKoughnett is an experienced professional in public programs and engagement, currently serving as the Public Programs and Engagement Manager at the Los Angeles Review of Books since April 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Manager and Subscriptions Coordinator at Skylight Books, where collaboration with publishers enhanced subscription services. Emily also operated as a self-employed digital manager, helping artists and organizations enhance their web presence, and gained experience in event management at Eat My Words Bookstore and KLC Radio. Additional positions include Gallery Assistant at Gavlak Gallery, Fundraiser at TPT - Twin Cities PBS, Field Organizer for NextGen America, and Promotions and Social Media at HOLOCENE. Emily earned a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Lewis & Clark College in 2015.
