Ruthanne Salido

Ruthanne Salido has extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as the copy desk director and co-chair of Standards & Practices at the Los Angeles Times since July 1989, following a role as the digital morning copy desk manager. Ruthanne previously worked as a copy editor at The Washington Post from July 2006 to April 2007, and held copy editing positions at the Philadelphia Inquirer, The Orange County Register, and Pasadena Star-News between 1983 and 1989. Ruthanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Master of Arts in Communications from California State University, Fullerton.
