Karen Converse

Karen Converse has extensive experience in manufacturing operations and education, currently serving as the Director of Manufacturing Operations at Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Organic Farm since February 2016, overseeing wholesale lavender sales, product manufacturing, and distribution. Previous roles include Professional Faculty at The University of New Mexico, where Karen taught International Management, and Innovation Director at New Mexico MEP, focused on enhancing competitiveness for local businesses. As Co-Owner of Wee Bee Bouquets, Karen designed unique floral representations for special events. Earlier career positions include Operations Manager/Project Manager at Technology Integration Group and various roles at Ethicon Endo-Surgery and Eddleman Industries, emphasizing quality and efficiency improvements in manufacturing. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Engineering Management from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering from New Mexico State University.
