Vibhay Prasad

Vibhay Prasad has extensive work experience in the field of medicine, particularly in rehabilitation and neurology. Vibhay currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer/Partner at BARWIS since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Medical Director at the Centre for Neuro Skills starting from February 2002. Before that, they worked as the Medical Director of Rehabilitation Hospital at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center, starting from December 1997. In addition, they are the President of Vibhay Prasad MD Inc, where they run a private practice focused on rehabilitation medicine, with a specialization in neurologic rehabilitation for stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury. Vibhay also offers EMG/NCS and ultrasound guided soft tissue injection treatments.

Vibhay Prasad completed a Bachelor's degree in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from the University of Michigan in 1987. Then, from 1987 to 1991, they attended Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. After that, from 1992 to 1995, Vibhay Prasad pursued post-graduate training in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
