Özlem Gürel

Özlem Gürel is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in game design, narrative development, and content strategy. Currently serving as Creative Director and Founder at LostCTRL since March 2021, Özlem previously held the position of Head of Game Design. From January 2014 to March 2021, Özlem worked as Narrative Director and Writer at Super Mad Games, specializing in crafting storylines and dialogues for games. As Chief Content Strategist and Founder at Hit Crit, an Istanbul-based marketing agency, Özlem managed diverse projects for clients in the gaming and technology sectors. Özlem’s career began at Doğan Holding, where a 15-year tenure included various editorial and management roles, including launching new magazines and expanding content offerings. Education includes degrees from Istanbul University and Anatolian Journalism College.
