David Shenman has over 25 years of experience in the hotel industry. David is currently the Director of Sales & Marketing at Lotte New York Palace since 2016. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Sales at Lotte New York Palace from 2012 to 2016. Before joining Lotte, they worked as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Jumeirah Group / Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts for a brief period in 2011. From 2010 to 2011, they were the Director of Sales at InterContinental New York Barclay. David also had a role as the Director of Group Sales at InterContinental New York Barclay from 2006 to 2010. Before that, they worked as the Director of Group Sales at Crowne Plaza Times Square from 2003 to 2006. David began their career as an Account Executive at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they worked as a Group Sales Manager and Convention Service Manager at Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel from 1997 to 2001, and as a Catering Sales Manager at Crowne Plaza Hasbrouck Heights from 1995 to 1996.
David Shenman attended Ithaca College from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a degree in Applied Psychology. During their time at Ithaca College, they focused on business and psychology, with an emphasis on corporate communications.
