Bashir Salami

Bashir Salami has worked in various roles in the banking industry. Bashir began their career in 2006 as a Human Resource officer with Skye Bank Plc. From there, they moved on to become a Strategy Officer with the same company in 2011. In 2017, Bashir joined Unity Bank Plc as the Head of Digital & Youth Banking, where they created the Project Unifi. Bashir later became the Head of Digital, Events & Sponsorship. Most recently, in 2023, Bashir joined LOTUS Bank as the Head of Brand Marketing & Communications.

Bashir Salami attended Columbia Business School in 2020, where they studied Digital Strategies for Business. Bashir also studied Business Analytics at the University of Cambridge in 2020, focusing on Decision Making Using Data.
