Pierrick Rambaud

Pierrick RAMBAUD, PhD, is a Senior Geospatial Data Scientist at Louis Dreyfus Company, specializing in deforestation modeling and analysis using advanced AI models and satellite imagery. Prior experience includes roles as a Remote Sensing Expert and SEPAL Development Expert at the FAO, where Pierrick contributed to national forest monitoring projects and developed the sepal-ui Python framework. Pierrick has also worked as a PhD candidate at CEMEF MINES ParisTech, focusing on post-machining distortions in aeronautical components, and has held various engineering and project management roles, including at Airbus Group Innovations and the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics. Pierrick holds a PhD and a Master's degree in numerical mechanics and materials from Mines Paris - PSL, as well as extensive experience in remote sensing and geospatial analysis across multiple countries.
