Andrew Young

Andrew Young currently serves as the Assistant Secretary of the Office of Mineral Resources at the Louisiana Department of Energy and Natural Resources. Additional leadership roles include serving as the Secretary of the Louisiana State Mineral and Energy Board and the Chairman of the Louisiana Offshore Wind Advisory Committee, where Andrew coordinates with stakeholders to establish a roadmap for offshore wind development in Louisiana. Andrew's professional background includes experience as an attorney at Kean Miller LLP, a Senior Editor at the Louisiana Law Review, and various legal positions including judicial externship with the United States Courts. Andrew holds a Juris Doctor and Diploma in Civil Law from LSU Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Louisiana State University.
