Lance Beauvais

Lance Beauvais has over three decades of experience in environmental science and utility management. Currently serving as an Environmental Scientist DCL at the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality since January 1992, Lance conducts complex air quality compliance inspections, oversees multi-media environmental compliance, and manages the Inspection Division’s functions in the Northeast and Northwest Regions. Responsibilities include emergency response air monitoring, asbestos management inspections, and training personnel. Prior to this role, Lance worked at Florida Power & Light Company from April 1989 to September 1991 as a Utility Forester, where responsibilities included supervising contractor work, scheduling maintenance, and addressing customer concerns. Lance holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology from Louisiana Tech University.
