Madeline Stoltz Abernethy

Madeline Stoltz Abernethy is an experienced environmental scientist manager at the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, specializing in the Remediation Division since February 2019. Prior to this, Madeline held a geologist intern position at PetroStrat Ltd, where statistical analysis of paleontological marker fossils in the Eocene Wilcox formations was conducted using PAST software and Microsoft Excel. Madeline also possesses extensive experience in healthcare, having worked as a radiologic technologist at various medical facilities, including Lakeview Regional Medical Center and MHM Urgent Care, where skills in surgical equipment and laboratory operations were developed. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from Louisiana State University and training from the North Oaks School of Radiologic Technology.
