Nathan Baylot

Nathan Baylot has over a decade of experience with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, currently serving as a Civil Engineer since October 2011. Baylot specializes in bridge rating, overload/off-road permits, and bridge inspections. In the role of Engineer Technician 5, which began in 2015, Baylot has led statewide local road collection efforts, maintained relations with vendors and local governments, and spoken at various conferences and peer exchanges on best practices for Federal Highway inventory mandates. Baylot's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Cartography from Mississippi State University.
