Maya Guntz

Maya Guntz currently serves as a Judicial Law Clerk for the US District Court for the Southern District of Alabama since September 2023 and previously held a similar position at the US District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. Guntz has significant experience in various legal roles, including as a Senior Attorney at Guntz & Associates, LLC, where expertise spans employment, corporate, family, appellate advocacy, and transactional law. Additionally, Guntz has served as the 19th Judicial District Delegate to the House of Delegates for the Louisiana State Bar Association and as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Southern University Law Center. Prior positions include practicing law at Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys and serving as an Attorney Adviser for the United States Department of Defense, focusing on administrative law matters. Guntz holds a JD, cum laude, from Southern University Law Center and a BA in History, cum laude, from Hampton University.
