Brian Wiggins

Chief Deputy Judicial Administrator at Louisiana Supreme Court

Brian Wiggins has extensive work experience in the legal field. Brian began their career as an Assistant Executive Counsel at the Office of the Governor - Louisiana in 2006 and worked there until 2008. Brian then moved on to become an Attorney for the Health and Welfare Committee at the Louisiana House of Representatives from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they joined the Louisiana Supreme Court and held various positions, including Research Attorney, Hearing Officer Counsel, and Deputy Judicial Administrator. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Deputy Judicial Administrator, overseeing the court's language access program and compliance with the Memorandum of Agreement between the court and the U.S. Department of Justice.

Brian Wiggins began their education in 1995 at Louisiana State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government. Brian continued their studies at LSU and completed a second Bachelor of Arts degree in the same field. From 2000 to 2004, Brian pursued a Master of Public Administration degree at LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business. Finally, they attended LSU Law from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Doctor of Law degree.
