Jessica Underwood Burleson

Jessica Underwood Burleson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management and grant writing. Currently, Jessica serves as the Manager of Institutional Giving at the Louisville Orchestra since September 2022. Previously, Jessica held the position of Executive Director at Partners in Parenting from June 2017 to August 2020, overseeing programming, marketing, and strategic direction while managing a team and fiscal responsibilities. As a Co-Founder of Wordvine Consulting Group, Jessica provided grant proposal support and project management for mission-driven organizations. Earlier roles include Grants Manager at both the Sustainable Food Center and The Center for Women and Families, as well as Grants Coordinator for Louisville Metro Government. Jessica's foundational experience includes serving as a Health Volunteer with the United States Peace Corps. Jessica holds a Master of Arts in Women's Studies from the University of Louisville and a certificate in Integrative Nutrition from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
