Divya Karthikeyan

Divya Karthikeyan is an experienced journalist currently serving as a Race and Equity Reporter and Capitol Reporter for Louisville Public Media since May 2022, covering politics and government in Kentucky. As a Board Member of the South Asian Journalists Association since January 2024, Divya contributes to media representation. Previous experience includes roles as an Editorial Intern at The New Republic and a Reporting Intern at Gotham Gazette, as well as freelance journalism focused on various issues in India. Divya has held positions such as Senior Reporter at The News Minute and News Trainee at CNN-IBN, and started journalism career reporting for The New Indian Express. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Journalism from New York University and a PG in Television Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism.
