Aaron Nixon

Aaron Nixon currently serves as the Dean of Students at ACCEL HOPE ACADEMY NORTHCOAST LLC since July 2024. In addition to this role, Aaron has been the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Cuyahoga Community College since November 2019, where Aaron also previously held the position of Assistant Men's Basketball Coach. Additionally, since January 2021, Aaron has worked as a Qualified Mental Health Specialist and Community Outreach Coordinator for Right Direction Behavioral Health Services. Aaron's career in coaching includes roles as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Lakeland Community College and as Academic Skills Coordinator for the Upward Bound Program at Lourdes University, where Aaron also served as an assistant coach for men's basketball. Prior coaching experience includes a position as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Heidelberg University from August 2011 to May 2013. Aaron holds a Bachelor's degree in African-American/Black Studies from California State University, Long Beach, and a Master of Arts in Education from Heidelberg University.
