Raisa Lefé Rouse

Raisa Lefé Rouse, M.S. has a diverse background in various roles and industries. Most recently, they worked at Lovejoy ISD as the Head Director of Theatre. Prior to that, they served as a Fine Arts Educator/Substitute at Richardson Independent School District and as a Drama Teacher & Junior High Theatre Director at Dallas Independent School District.

Outside of the education sector, Raisa has also held positions in government and nonprofit organizations. Raisa Lefé worked at The Maryland General Assembly as the Legislative, Constituent & Community Engagement Director for State Senator Mary Washington. In this role, they managed a team and represented the Senator at various events and meetings.

Raisa also gained experience in arts education policy and advocacy as a Legislative & Arts Education Policy Graduate Fellow at Arts Education in Maryland Schools Alliance. Raisa Lefé drafted legislative documents and assisted in coalition building efforts.

Additionally, Raisa has worked in the museum and events management sectors. Raisa Lefé was a Visitor Research & Data Analysis Graduate Fellow at The Academy of Natural Sciences and a Private Events Venue Manager at The Johns Hopkins University. Raisa Lefé also served as an Audience Services Manager at Morgan State University and an Events Manager at Creative Alliance.

Prior to these positions, Raisa held the role of Special Events Fundraising Manager at Washington Literacy Center, where they successfully managed fundraising events and developed new initiatives.

Raisa Lefé Rouse, M.S. holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Theatre Arts from Morgan State University. Raisa Lefé pursued further education at Drexel University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Arts Administration & Museum Leadership. In addition to their academic achievements, Raisa also obtained a certification in Fundamental Fundraising from the Tessitura Network in October 2021.
