Johannes Braun

Johannes Braun has extensive work experience in the engineering and tech industry. Johannes started their career as a Working Student at Infineon Technologies in 2007 and later moved on to T-Systems Multimedia Solutions GmbH where they worked as a Working Student until 2011. During that time, they also served as a Master Thesis Student at SAP. In 2012, Johannes joined Couchfunk GmbH as the Lead Android Developer, responsible for implementing a leading social TV app. In 2013, they joined LOVOO as a Senior Android Developer and later took on roles such as Lead Mobile Engineer and Head of Mobile Engineering, where they played a key role in the company's growth and acquisition by The Meet Group. In 2020, Johannes became the Head of Engineering at LOVOO and eventually rose to the position of Vice President Engineering, leading and mentoring teams, developing technical strategies, and coordinating with stakeholders at both the C-level and ParshipMeet Group. Alongside their career, they also co-founded and served as an Engineering Advisor at Alarm Dispatcher Systems GmbH. In addition, Johannes worked as a Software Engineering and Consulting Freelancer from 2009 to 2020. Johannes Braun started their education in 2005 at Technische Universität Dresden, where they studied Medieninformatik for two years. Following that, they pursued their degree in Medien-Informatik at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft from 2007 to 2012, completing their studies with a Diplom degree.
