Pedro Santo Amaro

Pedro Santo Amaro is an experienced portfolio manager currently working at Low Carbon since October 2023. Prior to this role, Pedro served as a technical manager at Lekela Power from September 2018 to October 2023, where responsibilities included providing technical guidance for project development and supporting PPP negotiations. Pedro's career also includes consulting roles at RINA, where expertise in technical due diligence for renewable projects was developed, and previous positions at SSE plc and the Tony Davies High Voltage Laboratory focusing on system planning and high voltage engineering research. Pedro holds a Ph.D. in High Voltage Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton, along with A-Level qualifications from CLIP - Oporto International School.
