Walter S. Robertson III

Mr. Robertson leads the firm’s marketing strategies and is a member of the Executive Committee. He works closely with the firm’s high net worth, retirement plan advisory, and institutional outsourced-CIO offerings. Mr. Robertson retired from Scott & Stringfellow/BB&T Capital Markets in March 2012, having served in several capacities since October 2001, including Chief Operations Officer, President of Private Client Group and President and CEO. Prior to that he served as an executive officer and board member of BB&T Insurance Services. He holds a B.A. degree from Washington & Lee University and has 45 years of experience in the financial services industry.
