Kaspar von Braun is an accomplished astronomer with extensive experience in research and academia. Currently serving as an astronomer at Lowell Observatory since October 2014, Kaspar has previously held positions at renowned institutions such as the Max-Planck Institute for Astronomy and Caltech, where roles included astronomer, staff scientist, and postdoctoral researcher. From October 2002 to October 2005, Kaspar was a fellow at the Carnegie Institution for Science. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astronomy and Astrophysics and a Master of Science (M.S.) in the same field, both obtained from the University of Michigan.
