Melissa Hecht

Melissa Hecht has extensive experience in education and physical therapy. Currently serving as a Biology Teacher at Lower Merion School District since August 2016, Melissa teaches Advanced Placement Biology and Honors Anatomy and Physiology. Prior to this, Melissa taught Honors Biology and Honors Anatomy and Physiology at Wissahickon School District from August 2012 to August 2016. Melissa's physical therapy background includes roles at Main Line Health, Select Medical Rehab Services, Jefferson Homecare Network, and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where responsibilities included evaluating and treating patients in various settings. With a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Duke University, Melissa integrates a strong foundation in biology and physical health into teaching practices.
