Vishnu Duraisamy

Vishnu Duraisamy, CPSCM™, has a diverse and extensive work experience in strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, and consulting. Vishnu currently serves as the Global Lead - Strategic Sourcing, Process, and Intel at Lowe's India. In this role, they are responsible for leading global procurement initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Prior to Lowe's, Vishnu worked at Bristlecone, a Mahindra group company, where they held the position of Global Lead - Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Transformation. During their tenure, they led multiple procurement engagements globally, handling indirect spend of over $15 billion. Vishnu's key responsibilities included cross-functional stakeholder collaboration, savings, sourcing and procurement strategy, and process optimization/compliance.

Before their time at Bristlecone, Vishnu was associated with GEP Worldwide. Vishnu initially worked as a Senior Consultant and later became the Manager - Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Consulting. In these roles, they managed significant budgets for Fortune 500 companies across various industries. Vishnu's responsibilities included strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, spend analysis, and market research.

In addition to their corporate experience, Vishnu pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Bangalore. Vishnu also completed a summer internship at GEP Worldwide.

Vishnu's early career was with Manhattan Associates, where they worked as an Analyst/Software Engineer. During their three-year tenure, they gained valuable experience in software engineering and analysis.

Vishnu Duraisamy, CPSCM™, holds a PGDM degree in Operations and Marketing from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. Vishnu also has a BE degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007.
