Suchetana Shetty

Suchetana Shetty has extensive work experience in research and development, technology leadership, and product development. Suchetana is currently the Technology Head at LOXIM INDUSTRIES LIMITED.

Prior to their current role, Suchetana worked at Garware Hi-Tech Films Limited as the Head of R&D (IPD) and ESG Coordinator. Here, they led the R&D team in developing new products for flexible packaging, lidding films, electrical insulation, and laminate applications. Suchetana also streamlined the QA function to monitor processes and reduce defects.

Before that, they were the Head of R&D at CSPL, where they led multidisciplinary teams in research and development for automotive, electrical, and industrial applications. Additionally, they managed the technology roadmap and collaborated with technical teams to enhance user experience.

Suchetana's previous experience includes roles at SRF Limited as the Chief Scientific Officer and AVP - New Product Development, at 3M India - Innovation Labs as a Product Developer, at GE India Technology Center as a Lead Scientist, and at NT Medical as a Process, Production & Product Development Engineer.

Suchetana Shetty completed their education in a chronological manner. Suchetana first attended the University of Mysore from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Polymer Science and Engineering. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Plastics Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1999 to 2000. Later, in 2013 and 2014, they attended INSEAD and completed a degree in ILPSIE, focusing on General Management and Strategy.
