Avinash Soni

Avinash Soni is an experienced Planning professional, currently serving as an Approvals Planner and Planning Technician at Loyalist Township since December 2021. Prior to this role, Avinash worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, focusing on a project related to School Closures in Ontario, and conducted a Graduate Student Research project examining the quality of plan monitoring and evaluation in Ontario municipalities. Avinash also held various positions, including Client Service Representative at Crawford & Company, Student Consultant with the City of London, and Planning Analyst with the City of Waterloo. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Environmental Studies in Planning from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Design/Architecture from CEPT University.
