Joellyn C.

Joellyn C. has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Joellyn currently holds the position of Publisher at 4U2B Books & Media, an imprint of Loyola Press, where they focus on creating content that entertains, educates, and empowers families and caregivers. Prior to this, Joellyn served as President/Publisher at Loyola Press, where they led the development of mission and business strategies. Joellyn also held various roles at Loyola Press, including Vice President of New Product Development and Director of Curricula Development. Before joining Loyola Press, Joellyn worked at ROBERT-LESLIE PUBLISHING, LLC as an Author for The InvestiGator Club Prekindergarten Learning System. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Freelance Managing Editor, Editor Writer, and Author for various publishing companies including McGraw-Hill, Pearson/Scott Foresman, Houghton Mifflin, Harcourt, Sundance, and Rainbow Creative Concepts. Joellyn's experience also includes working as a Staff Editor at Creative Teaching Press and as an Elementary School Teacher in the Santa Ana Unified School District. Joellyn taught various grade levels and was awarded Teacher of the Year in 1993/1994.

Joellyn C. completed their Bachelor's degree in Education from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids in 1987. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2005, they completed the "Protecting God's Children for Adults" certification from Virtusonline.org. In 2011, they participated in the Leadership Development Program offered by the Center for Creative Leadership. In 2014, Joellyn completed the Ignatian Colleagues Program offered by the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU). In 2016, they obtained the "Finance for Executives" certification from the Kellogg School Center for Nonprofit Management at Northwestern University. Lastly, in 2017, they obtained a certification in "Nonprofit Finance" from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
