Michael P. McCarthy is an Associate Professor at Loyola University Chicago, where tenure includes roles as Assistant Director of Theological Ethics and involvement in the Physician's Vocation Program. McCarthy's experience also encompasses serving as a Chaplain, providing support to medical students within the Jesuit and Catholic tradition. Prior to this, McCarthy taught religious education at Boston College High School. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Theology from Loyola University Chicago, a Master of Theological Studies from Weston Jesuit School of Theology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Saint Louis University.
