Chad Snyder

Chad Snyder, CPP has over 10 years of experience in payroll operations and human resources. Chad is currently the Director of Payroll Operations at Loyola University Maryland, a position they have held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Chad served as the Manager of Payroll Operations at the same university from January 2021 to November 2023.

Before joining Loyola University, Chad worked at Aerotek as a Payroll Supervisor from January 2015 to December 2020. In this role, they managed full cycle in-house payroll processing for a large-scale operation, overseeing a team of 22 payroll auditors. Chad also stayed updated on payroll laws to provide accurate information to the team and field support staff.

Chad's earlier work experience includes serving as a Human Resources Payroll Coordinator at Abacus Corporation from January 2014 to January 2015, and as an Employment Specialist at the State of Maryland from April 2011 to December 2013. Chad conducted interviews, assessments, and provided administrative support in these roles.

Chad's career began as an Office Manager at World Gym Fitness Centers from September 2008 to March 2011.

Chad Snyder, CPP, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management & Sociology from Salisbury University, which was obtained in 2008. Chad is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Loyola University Maryland Sellinger School of Business and Management, expected to be completed in 2024. In addition, Chad has obtained the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification from PayrollOrg in December 2023.
