Suzie Cavassa

Suzie Cavassa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operational leadership and nonprofit consulting. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at the Polyvagal Institute, Suzie is dedicated to optimizing the human experience through the creation of safe and connected environments. As a Senior Associate at LPA since 2009, Suzie supports various nonprofit organizations in areas such as executive search, organizational assessment, and strategic planning. Previous experience includes an associate role at Loveall Price & Associates, ownership of Via Yoga—recognized as a premier yoga retreat destination, and consultancy roles in marketing and strategic planning for new business ventures. Suzie's career began with leadership positions at Club ZUM and the YMCA of Greater Seattle, shaping operational structures and enhancing program offerings. Suzie holds a BA in Music and Oceanography from the University of Washington.
