Sandip Chanda

Sandip Chanda is an experienced logistics and operations professional with a solid background in vessel planning and terminal operations. Currently serving as the Terminal Vessel and Yard Operation Coordinator at Lyttelton Port Company since May 2023, Sandip is responsible for various sub-roles including Yard Controller and Ship Planner. Prior to this, positions held include Terminal Vessel Planner at Port of Tauranga Limited, Operations Manager at Pacific International Lines (PTE) Ltd, and Equipment Coordinator at Neptune Pacific Line. With a Master of Business Administration from Auckland University of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Calcutta, Sandip has developed expertise in coordinating vessel operations, managing logistics costs, and optimizing asset utilization throughout a diverse career in the maritime industry.
