Aolin Xie

Senior Measurement Scientist at LSAC

Aolin Xie began their work experience in 2007 as a Research Assistant/Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota. They also worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute on Community Integration, University of Minnesota, and as a Research Intern at the New York State Psychiatric Institute in 2008. In 2009, they became a Data Analyst at the Minnesota Department of Human Services and a Research Assistant at the Institute on Community Integration, University of Minnesota. They then interned as a Summer Intern in the Measurement Research Department at ACT in 2011. From 2012 to 2016, Aolin Xie worked as a Psychometrician and later became a Psychometrician II, Team Lead at Prometric. In 2018, they joined the Law School Admission Council as a Measurement Scientist and later became a Senior Measurement Scientist in 2019.

Aolin Xie obtained a Ph.D in Quantitative Methods in Education from the University of Minnesota, specializing in the Department of Educational Psychology. This degree was earned from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, Aolin Xie earned an M.A in the same field and department, again from the University of Minnesota, from 2006 to 2009. Aolin Xie's undergraduate education was completed at East China Normal University, where they received a B.A in Psychology from 2002 to 2006.
