Hannah Valmont

Hannah Valmont has a strong background in environmental health and safety, with extensive experience in various industries. Hannah is currently serving as the Vice President of Environmental Health & Safety at LSB Industries, Inc. since March 2020. Prior to this, they were the HSE Director, Americas at IMI Precision Engineering from July 2018 to March 2020.

From 2014 to 2018, Valmont worked at Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, LLC where they held the position of VP EHS & Operations Compliance. In this role, they oversaw multiple fertilizer plants, a power plant, and numerous terminals in the US, Canada, UK, and EU. Hannah also played a key role in identifying and mitigating risks and managed a team of EHS, process safety, product stewardship, transportation, and security professionals.

Before joining Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, Valmont worked at Koch Fertilizer, LLC from 2006 to 2014 as the Compliance Director. Their responsibilities included building and managing the commercial and operations compliance capability for coal, pet coke, fertilizer, and O&G exploration sectors. Hannah also contributed to the development of the EU REACH compliance program and implemented new strategies for operations excellence.

Valmont's career in environmental health and safety began at ExxonMobil Chemical Co., where they worked as a Senior Environmental Engineer from 1995 to 2000. Hannah was responsible for coordinating air compliance activities during this time.

Prior to ExxonMobil, Valmont worked as an Environmental Engineer at Hess Oil Virgin Islands Corp. from 1989 to 1995. In this role, they conducted emission inventories and managed the development and implementation of a fugitive emission control program for a refinery project.

Throughout their career, Valmont has demonstrated strong leadership in environmental health and safety, regulatory affairs, compliance management, and risk mitigation. Hannah has a proven track record of building effective compliance programs and driving operational excellence.

Hannah Valmont holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from Colorado State University. In April 2012, they also obtained the certification of Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) from the Society for Compliance & Ethics.
