Sydney Seral

Sydney Seral, MBA, has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles in government affairs, political mobilization, and advocacy. They currently hold the position of Vice President of Advocacy at the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates since March 2022. Prior to this, Sydney served as the Senior Director of Governmental Affairs at the same organization from June 2020 to March 2022.

Sydney's career began in 2012 as a Campaign Assistant for Friends of Chip Rogers. They then gained experience in the Georgia State Senate, working as a Majority Caucus Intern in early 2013, followed by roles as an Appropriations Committee Legislative Aide in early 2014 and a Legislative Assistant in late 2014.

In 2014, Sydney also took on the role of Campaign Manager for John F. Kennedy for State Senate. The following year, they joined the American Chemistry Council, where they served as the Manager of Political Mobilization from February 2015 to August 2017, Manager of State Government Affairs from September 2017 to January 2019, and Director of Political Mobilization from January 2019 to June 2020.

Throughout their career, Sydney has demonstrated expertise in political outreach, advocacy strategies, grassroots communications campaigns, and managing governmental affairs. Their experience in both organizational and political settings is a valuable asset in the field of government relations.

Sydney Seral holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, which was obtained from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2013, Sydney earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The University of Georgia. Additionally, Sydney has obtained several certifications, including a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business in September 2019, and a Human-Centered Design Thinking Essentials Student Master from The Design Academy, Inc in May 2019.
