Jose Herrera has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles.
Starting from 1991 at Space Systems / Loral, they worked as a Systems Analyst III, leading a helpdesk and customer service group. Jose was responsible for troubleshooting and repairing personal computers either via phone or in-field repairs. Jose also assisted in the selection process of customer service representatives.
In 2006, Jose worked at TEKsystems as a Customer Support/Technical Support for Bank of America for a brief period.
Later in 2006, they joined the National Restaurant Association as a Manager of Customer Service, where they managed a team of customer service representatives. Jose was responsible for hiring and training new representatives, as well as processing customer orders.
In 2009, at MAKE Corporation, Jose worked as a Lead in the Service Center for The Northern Trust Company. Jose managed three service centers and was responsible for hardware lifecycle deployments and managing inventory and asset readiness for end-user deployment.
In 2016, they worked for Insight as a Supervisor of the Advanced Integration Lab, where they directed staff in the integration of network hardware, software, and operating systems. Jose coordinated bench space allocation and configuration specifications to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
From 2017 to 2020, Jose worked at NSC Global as a Service Desk Analyst, providing support, advice, and assistance to employees with technical issues. Jose also imaged desktops and laptops using company procedures.
Currently, they are employed at LSI (Lending Solutions, Inc.) as a member of the Information Technology team. Jose supports over 800 users across three different sites remotely and in person. Jose'sresponsibilities include responding quickly and effectively to critical issues, handling requests and incidents, and escalating them if necessary. Jose works in an HP Thin Client in a VDI infrastructure environment.
Jose Herrera earned a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of San Francisco from 2001 to 2003. Jose then pursued a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems from the same university from 2003 to 2005.
