Ellen Hefferan

Ellen Hefferan serves as the Executive Vice President of Operations and Accounting at the Loan Syndications & Trading Association (LSTA) since January 2006, focusing on enhancing operational strategies for a more efficient market. Prior to LSTA, Ellen was President of ClearPar from 2000 to 2006 and served as Senior Counsel at Citigroup for a decade, where major contributions included transactional support for loan syndications and corporate banking. Early legal experience includes positions at Winston & Strawn LLP as an Associate, negotiating complex commercial loan transactions, and as Senior Counsel at Citi, advising on securities and corporate finance matters. Ellen holds a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Marketing from Fordham University.
