Katie Bursley

Katie Bursley currently serves as the Director of Donor Relations and Events at LSU Health Sciences Foundation-Shreveport since January 2022. Prior experience includes directing donor relations and human resources at United Way of Northwest Louisiana from October 2017 to January 2022, and roles as an event coordinator at AFS Logistics, LLC, and director of catering at The Petroleum Club, Shreveport. Earlier, Katie interned in community and corporate relations at Bridgestone and gained experience in the wedding industry through an event assistant position at Belle Events. Leadership capabilities were demonstrated as President of PRSSA at Belmont University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management from LSU Shreveport and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Belmont University.
