Daniel Caffarelli

Daniel Caffarelli's work experience includes various roles in the legal and compliance field. Daniel started their career as an Associate at Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP in 1999 and later joined Clifford Chance LLP as an Associate in 2001. In 2003, they became Deputy General Counsel at Guggenheim Advisors and later transitioned to the role of Senior Legal Counsel at Guggenheim Fund Solutions. In 2014, they joined Metacapital Management as Chief Compliance Officer & Legal Counsel, and eventually became General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer. In 2021, they moved to Ellington Management Group as Associate General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer. Currently, they serve as the Chief Compliance Officer & Counsel at LSV Advisors, LLC.

Daniel Caffarelli earned a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in all subjects from Cornell University in 1996. Daniel went on to obtain a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Boston University School of Law in 1999.
